1. How to give 'Self - Introduction' in Beauty Pageants like a Pro?

In Beauty Pageants, If someone is asked to 'Tell me about Yourself' in front of a set of strangers - that particular moment is more scarier than any other life threatening adventures.

They know everything about us, as they will be gone through our application forms. But also why do they ask this question by keeping our application forms in their hands? But what exactly they are looking forward from us to tell them.

For all your confusions today I gonna put an end by helping you to answer this simple question like a Pro.

First & foremost thing you have to do is you have to catch their attention, keep them interested. Because they might have gone through 100's of introductions like yours. So here is the opportunity to prove them you are the best.

I gonna explain you in a step-wise process;

Step 1: Greetings

• Good Morning (till 12 pm)
• Good Afternoon (12 pm to 4:30 pm)
• Good Evening (4:30 pm to all the way till midnight)

Do's: Smile, Be Confident, Maintain good eye contact

Don'ts: Hey, Hi, Whats' up? , Confounding between good morning & good afternoon 

Step 2: Your Name & Age

I am/ I'm Sanjay Neelancheri & I'm 22 years old.

My name is Sanjay Neelancheri & I'm 22 years old.

Do's: Pronounce clearly, Say your full name

Don'ts: Myself Sanjay Neelancheri, I'm MR. Sanjay Neelancheri (don't use Mr./ Miss for yourself)

Date of Birth, My age is 22 years

Step 3: Qualifications

Say your most recent qualification & go back if highly important.

If you are a student, then if your college is prominent & well known - mention it, otherwise let it pass.

If you are an employee, mention the name of your company whatsoever.

Don'ts: I'm a MBA student from MSRIT (Mention your company's/ institution's name in expanded version, not an abbreviated form)

Step 4: Additional Qualifications

Here you have to include your skills you gained or awards that you won.

Step 5: Adjectives

Use some adjectives to describe about yourself.

(I can find a varieties of Adjectives that describing about yourself in your Instagram bios, that too even you blame IG for not providing more characters to fill your adjectives on your bio. When asked about yourself in Beauty Pageants you fumble to use some adjectives that depict you. LOL, Be Strong, Be Confident to describe yourself but Don't fake!)

Few Examples for Adjectives are: Ambitious, Courageous, Easy going, Generous, Helpful, Jovial, Keen, Naughty, Peaceful, Positive, Punctual, Talented, Versatile etc.

Step 6: Hobbies/ Passion

It helps you to build a good bond between you & the judges & helps you establish your skills you would love to demonstrate over there.

Don'ts: Sleeping, Watching TV (Don't be silly at your hobbies, think like a Pro,speak like a Pro)

Step 7: Closing

Step 4: Along with my professional degree, I'm eagerly learning Yoga courses to have a good scope for my job in future.

Step 5: Moreover I'm a jovial person, Bit optimistic, Easy going & Versatile

Step 6: During my study breaks I enjoy trekking & reading novels. I would love to explore the beauty of nature and to experience the thrilling adventures.
